Hi, I’m Vedad.

I’m happiest with a good game in the evening, a book I can’t put down, or a long ride on the bike. And with a coffee in reach, of course. Rain is the one thing that can ruin a ride, and that’s how Rain Alert started. I wanted a quick, honest answer to “do I need a jacket this week?”, without ads, accounts or tracking.

It’s a small project I look after in my free time, and I’m still teaching it new tricks.

How a coffee helps. Your support keeps rainalert.live online and free, and covers the small costs that grow with it: the domain, hosting, and the weather-data limits that kick in as more people use it. It also tells me this is worth the evenings I spend on it, and each coffee goes into the next thing on the list: rain notifications on your phone, hourly forecasts, and remembering your favourite cities.
