Ăber Rae Leigh
Australian singer, songwriter, actor & artists
đ Rae Leigh â Artist ⢠Filmmaker ⢠Storyteller ⢠Advocate
Rae Leigh is an Australian singer-songwriter, actor, and producer creating a powerful body of work across music, film, and publishing â stories designed to inspire healing, courage, and connection in a divided world.
Her projects blend heartfelt country storytelling, cinematic film, and lived experience, exploring themes of trauma recovery, faith, resilience, womenâs empowerment, and the enduring human capacity for hope. This is not just entertainment â it is art with purpose.
Rae first captured national attention at the Tamworth Country Music Festivalâs 50th anniversary and has since headlined major festivals including Groundwater, appeared on NBCâs Young Rock, and released chart-topping singles such as âPush Em Up Jillâ (#1 Australian Country Radio) along with fan favourites Blue Shoes and Love Me. In 2024 she co-wrote and released Country Pride, the theme song for the documentary Bravery and Betrayal, honouring Australian veterans and their families â a deeply personal project shaped by her own experience as the daughter of a Vietnam veteran.
Today, Rae is building something much bigger.
Her current creative mission â anchored by the project Into The Dream â is a global, multimedia initiative spanning:
đŹ Social-impact films and cinematic storytelling
đľ Original music and soundtracks
đ A memoir-driven book exploring healing and survival
đ Live performances and community engagement
đ¤ International creative collaborations
Together, these works aim to open conversations around domestic violence, child protection, mental health, recovery, faith, and human dignity â transforming personal stories into collective hope.
Rae is a Recording Academy voting member, a board observer with PPCA (Australiaâs music licensing body), and founder of the international Songwriter Trysts podcast, which has connected hundreds of artists worldwide. Her work sits at the intersection of art, diplomacy, and advocacy â using storytelling as a bridge between communities, cultures, and lived experiences.
