Maraya's a dynamic artist who's not afraid to push boundaries. She's earned her Master of Fine Arts from Pratt Institute and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Texas Arlington. Her work has been showcased in group exhibitions at major institutions like the Whitney Museum of Art and The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
She's also known for her inventive, do-it-yourself projects. She created the "Debt Doll Project" which took to the streets of New York City , and she's even held an artist residency in a game trailer behind the Eldorado Bumper Cars in Coney Island.
