These compact shells take up virtually no space, making them perfect for minimalist loadouts or tactical kits where every gram counts.

What sets this design apart? A proper BB retention system

Unlike other shell adapters, this one features a mechanical BB retention pin that ensures minimal BB loss during reloads. When reloading, only two BBs drop—the rest are held securely in place by the retention pin, which slides into the BB tube to block the feed path.

This system is far more reliable than typical O-ring solutions, which can wear out, deform, or break over time. It’s a smarter, cleaner, and more durable approach to shell-fed gameplay.

🔧 What You Need to Build
Before printing, make sure to source the following hardware:
- BB Retention Pin: Ø2mm x L22–24mm
- Latch Pin: Ø1mm x 10–12mm (or use ~1mm wire)
- Latch Screw: M2.5 x 16mm
- BB Tube Screw: M2 x 5mm
- Springs (2 pcs): Ø4.5mm x 15mm

Tested on a Prusa Core One using CCTREE PETG Black. A brim is optional but may help with bed adhesion on certain printers. Personally, I had zero issues without one.
