I decided to give away 100,000 copies of my book. And don’t worry, this isn’t a watered-down version. It’s the exact same content you’d get from the paperback edition that sells for £19.99 on Amazon. In fact, these copies are in many ways better because the electronic version includes regular updates, video and audio content, and clickable links.
Typically, a book’s price gets set by comparing it to similar titles, what the author or publisher thinks you’ll pay, or some nebulous formula that ignores actual value. But that doesn’t tell you anything about whether the book will truly help you. Nor does it reward you if you love it and share it with your friends.
Instead, I want to test the value of the book by allowing you—the reader—to decide what you pay. Yes, I know I said free, and it is if you choose it to be, but you don’t need to find your wallet to make a payment to me.
Ways You Can “Pay” for the Book
Share It with Friends or on Social Media. There’s nothing more powerful than the recommendation of a friend. If you love the book, pay by telling others about it. Word of mouth is priceless for any author, and it’s a wonderful way to ensure more people discover a new approach to healthier living.
Contribute Whatever You Believe It’s Worth. After you’ve read the book (or as you go through it), decide on a fair value. Pay that amount with confidence, knowing you’re directly rewarding content that has helped you.
Explore the Offers Inside. You might find bonus materials, extra tools, or special programs within the pages. Clicking on them is another way to “pay” for the value you’ve received.
Gather Your Own Tribe. Sometimes the best motivation comes from a group of like-minded people. Consider inviting friends, coworkers, or family members to quit their diets with you.
