Pt 2 Rage Bait

May 06, 2025

Welcome back to Part Two of yesterday’s post.
Before we dive in, there’s something you need to know about me:
I’m a kid who plays Marvel Rivals, sure—but more importantly,
I’m the little brother.

And if you don’t already know, little brothers are experts—no, specialists—at driving their older siblings completely insane. It's in our DNA. That same chaos energy? You can apply it to any game you play.

So, let’s talk about two more characters that are absolutely perfect for triggering rage, breaking focus, and making someone shout "HOW IS THAT FUN FOR YOU?!"

1: Rocket Raccoon.
Why Rocket? Two reasons:

  1. He’s adorable.

  2. He’s an absolute nightmare gremlin that will haunt both your teammates and enemies long after the match is over.

Let’s start with the real chaos: tilting your own team.
I was playing Rocket one time just to complete a quest—innocent enough, right? WRONG.
Suddenly, my team starts panicking:
“Rocket, use your ult!”
“HELLO?? YOU HAVE YOUR ULT!”
“GG WE LOST BECAUSE ROCKET WON’T ULT.”
And there I sat... silently grinning... not ulting.
It was beautiful. A whole team of cranky 18-year-olds melting down while I did absolutely nothing. That, my friends, is power.

Now for the enemy team. Wanna make someone rage so hard they actually type in all caps? Here’s the plan:
Sneak around to the back alley like the fluffy little goblin you are. Pick one healer—just one. Start blasting them from behind like a tiny, angry toaster. When they turn to fight back (which they will), hit yourself with every health pack you have and start bouncing off walls like a rabid sugar squirrel.

They’ll be so laser-focused on catching you that they’ll forget the rest of the match even exists. Perfect.
You’re not doing damage.
You’re not helping.
You’re performing psychological warfare in fuzzy form.

Lead them on a goose chase through the nine circles of hell—and smile while doing it.

2: Peni Parker

This one might surprise you—but that just makes it better. Time to unleash your inner villain.

Step one: Use your utility to assassinate a healer. Easy.
Step two: Web-sling directly to enemy spawn like the tiny cyber-goblin of doom you are.
Step three: Before they even respawn, drop four mines right at the entrance. Healers don’t have 400 HP, which means... boom. Instant rage.

Now, here’s where you take it from evil to unforgivable. Pop your shift ability—six mines at once. Litter the ground. Paint it with chaos. Make it a pixelated minefield of doom. At this point, you’re not even fighting anymore, you’re setting traps like a Looney Tunes villain with a tech degree.

They’ll start to catch on, right? Start shooting the mines?
Wrong. That’s when you hide just out of sight, wait for the healer to peek... then web them to a wall and light them up.
You’ve created a loop of suffering, and it’s beautiful.

Peni Parker isn’t here to win.
She’s here to make someone log off and question their life choices.

You're welcome. 😈
