Evolutionary Background: The Cross of Planning on its way out.
This week unfolds under the Cross of Planning (37–40), but not just the nodes this week, The Sun/Earth joins and synchronizes for a week. We are witnessing evolutionary pressure on the very agreements that have sustained society for centuries. The background program is no longer about strengthening the tribe or the collective, it is about revealing which bargains are viable and which are hollow.
This transit calls attention to the mechanics of support, exchange, recognition, and value at a global level.
THE PRIMARY PROGRAM FIELD Sun in Gate 37 (Lines 1–6) Earth in Gate 40 (Lines 1–6)
The Sun/Earth axis activates Community / Family (37) and Deliverance / Aloneness (40) and will be sharing that with the nodes too. This is the axis of tribal contracts front and center in the program this week as the program calls attention here, the bargain: The Cross of Planning.
I contribute my labor (40), I receive belonging and support (37), or Do I/we/they still?
This is the energetic DNA of the Cross of Planning, the so called universal and unspoken and assumed collective will of shared labor, family structure, social safety nets, unions, institutions, and predictable reciprocity. This is something that has not been innate in human beings throughout history prior to the cross of planning, not at this scale. What carries through? what works and what supports correct exchange?
But we are moving out of this era that sustains that architecture “just because”, It is not collapsing today, but it is absolutely under a lot of evolutionary pressure and systems are being exposed. Look around?
Its everywhere and surely is impacting things somehow in our environments.
Are the bargains still fair? Is effort still met with support? Does sacrifice still yield security?
Who is actually being sustained? Is the promise still true? Is this correct for me?
And for a lot of people, businesses, cultures, countries, the answer depends on if it works or not.
The Earth in Gate 40 The Gate of Aloneness
THE POINT OF TRANSITION BETWEEN STRUGGLE AND LIBERATION.
This is a deeply tribal gate and as we know, emotions can drive the will. By the time we move into the upper trigram lines of the 37/40 this week the tribal frequency becomes visibly unstable. The Nodes and Pluto amplify recognition themes (see below). The Background frequency has been compressed and restricted with limitations for the last four years. That is not leaving anytime soon either, 60 may not be here but was an impactful transit.
On to the background of things.
The Nodes this week in 37.4 and 40.4 - Fourth line emphasis
On the 25th, 26th and 27th, the Nodes will be retrograde but will remain in line four for the week.
The fourth line is always about influence through relationship, about what becomes visible in the network.
37.4 Leadership by Example, the possibility of the highest principles in all relationships resulting a in a leadership role. This is met with 40.4 Organization, the power of Ego when organized and active, to maintain separateness. In the context of this week’s destabilized Planning field, this creates a very public testing of integrity. Who is actually living the values they claim? Who can organize resources without collapsing into resentment? Who stands as an example without demanding loyalty?
The retrograde motion internalizes this transit, pressuring reassessment of relational alliances and exposing where leadership is authentic and where it has merely been assumed.
Pluto 41.3, Fantasy
Pluto active in Gate 41 line 3 the root of all experiential cycles. This is the evolutionary pressure point. Gate 41 begins desire, It seeds fantasy and initiates the dream of what could be. Line 3 brings trial, error, and material confrontation. Efficacy, In Times of Decrease selfishness is justified.
Pluto here is pressuring fantasy, and with Sun/Earth joining the Nodes the fantasy of collective wide shared communal stability. This is creating a powerful theme for the week with both the inner and outers harmonizing. Pluto in 41.3 dismantles illusions at the root of that fantasy, disillusionment with institutions, emotional volatility around “fairness”, A feeling that the “promise” is not being kept.
But remember this is evolutionary, this is about a genetic movement, the old dream must fracture before a new experiential cycle can begin. We are living in the fracture, and the eventual break after a fracture is only sudden to those that miss the cracks. It's about "Seeing, Seeing, Seeing".
SATURN & NEPTUNE IN 25 (Post-Conjunction Residue)
Saturn (25.4) and Neptune (25.3) remain in Gate 25 Innocence / Universal Love and Saturn is forging on towards the 17 the Gate of Ideas, but not yet. The recent conjunction in Gate 25 dissolves moral certainty, Gate 25 is pure spirit, beyond tribal morality. This destabilizes the “seven-centered accountability” mindset the old moralistic judgment structures. The Structures of homogenized moral justice are breaking and have been for a while now. So, Collectively we may see: Moral confusion, Disillusionment with ideological righteousness, Exposure of spiritual bypassing, Collapse of “we are right” narratives. The Cross of Planning relies on moral cohesion, Gate 25 strips that down to raw innocence. Moral cohesion is being split apart by the program with the homogenized world being pulled into beliefs and projections, wandering in the fog of it all. The Cross is in a first line theme, research and revelations and we are certainly seeing that.
The world looking to find who is responsible and accountable while the field is full of fog, moral ambiguity and pressure to DO SOMETHING. But there is no collective consensus, what shatters the bargain?
A loss of TRUST.
URANUS IN 8.4 The Gate of Contribution
Uranus continues to be active in Gate 8, a gate of Individual contribution to the whole, the Voice of "I Know I Can" and with this activation Individual expression disrupts collective sameness. Under a Planning cross week, this increases tension in Tribal conformity, and by doing so it supports Individual creative disruption. The old collective agreements are increasingly unable to contain individual mutation.
In the fourth line all week, this expression moves into the social field where it can influence others. Under the Cross of Planning, Uranus introduces unpredictable individual disruption.
How many larger collectives can you see over the last years splitting into factions or tribalism, in anything from sports fans to geopolitics to activist groups? Leadership here does not come through loyalty to the tribe but through creative differentiation. As the Nodes test relational integrity in 37.4 and 40.4, Uranus in 8.4 quietly destabilizes conformity, revealing where collective structures can no longer contain authentic individual expression. The tension between maintaining agreements and honoring mutation intensifies, and the tribe is forced to confront the reality that the future will not be organized around sameness but around differentiated contribution.
JUPITER RETROGRADE IN 53.1
Jupiter remains retrograde all week in Gate 53 Beginnings. This is notable and sitting here in Jupiter can have all kinds of people starting big projects mentally.
Gate 53 starts cycles that must run their full course, yet retrograde Jupiter internalizes expansion.
There is enormous pressure in the background to: Start something new, the Not Self will drive this with fantasies of reward and with Jupiter? overindulgence of fantasy is a risk and in the Not Self? Failing to read the room because of Neptune and all the Fog. Remember a planetary retrograde reverses the direction of the neutrino stream through the hexagram and creates an emphasis, a review before expansion. The evolutionary caution: What you begin under this pressure will bind you long-term. The Cross of Planning energy invites “renegotiation.” Jupiter in 53 cautions “don’t jump blindly.”
While both the 53 and 41 are root gates, they are very different as Format (53) and Stream (41) energies.
Format Energies can be seen like the drum beat of things; the streams are the melodies.
They have a very different quality to their pressures.
Mars 30.1 moves to 30.6 all week.
Mars spends the week in Gate 30 Desire / Clinging Fire and with it all of the immature energy of Mars that is here. Immature feelings, Gate 30 is emotional intensity directed toward experience and this is where the passenger remembers the wave. Mars is an initiator because it is immature.
Mars here ignites all kinds of potential Impatience with limitation if we do not honor the wave, it can foster emotional overreach and add all kinds of “I want it now” pressure. Reactivity in the not self, acting on feelings which in the moment may or may not be correct.
February 25 (30.2), Mars moves into detriment, and may add the potential of emotional intensity: Over-aggressiveness against perceived restrictions as a potential, irritation or chafing against limits, forcing emotional conclusions or outcomes prematurely. Basically, not waiting the wave.
Mars transits through 30 nearly in lockstep with the Sun/Earth in 37/40 this week, a line a day.
Mars brings the potential of being emotionally inflamed, pushy energy.
Mercury Retrograde 22.6 Maturity, line 6 all week
Mercury turns retrograde midweek in Gate 22 Grace / Openness and with that we have the potential of communication becoming emotionally inconsistent. Public discourse may oscillate between charm and withdrawal or people may become sensitive. Grace can turn to moodiness quick. Line six all week,
Maturity, the potential to realize the spirit becomes the possibility to share that spirit with others.
The role of the individual is incomplete without social skills.
One potential of this gate is to empower others with the individual emotion. It is the quality of the emotional spirit which will condition how receptive the collective will be to the individual awareness.
Grace is where the spirit of the knower is released in a wave. Mercury, governs thinking and communication and with Gate 22, communication may take on mood-dependent context.
"Do I feel open?” “Do I feel received?” “Do I feel emotionally aligned?"
If the mood is right, Mercury in 22 can sound magnetic, poetic, emotionally intelligent.
If the mood is off, communication shuts down, becomes sharp and rejecting.
Venus in 22 — Attraction Based on Emotional Atmosphere
Venus governs value, attraction, aesthetics, relationship currency. In Gate 22, attraction is entirely based on emotional climate. The gate of Grace can also be the gate of Disgrace too.
“Does this feel good?” “Is there emotional chemistry? ”Is the timing right?”
Venus in 22 can bring: Romantic sensitivity, social charm, desire for beautiful emotional exchange, heightened vulnerability But also: Emotional withdrawal, coldness when not in the mood, Disinterest without explanation. While the Cross of Planning destabilizes structural agreements, Mercury and Venus in 22 destabilize emotional rapport. You can have two people fully aligned structurally (37/40 bargain intact) but if the mood is wrong? They disconnect anyway.
How this Transit Field lands on the Homogenized world
The Cross of Planning was never meant to last forever, It was a strategic survival structure where Humanity was supported in these structures and bargains. Things are changing though and stability is not assured anymore. There often seems the question or the hope that things will still work while things are breaking.
The Program has the Cross of Planning under pressure, Mars inflaming desire in 30, Pluto dissolving the fantasy in 41, Jupiter retrograde in 53 stirring beginnings, and Saturn/Neptune dissolving moral certainty in 25. What does that look like in the not-self?
Pressure, people in stages of shock, Withdrawal, Feeling ripped off, hopeless, angry, bitter, disappointed or Frustrated.
As me move inward to Mars, inflaming desire (30), A potential for highly personal reactions exists.
People won’t argue about principles, some may react to tone. For others subtle emotional cues, to whether they feel seen or not, conversations may pivot suddenly.
The not-self here says: “If you don’t respond the way I need emotionally, the bargain is broken.”
Moralized Collective Justice demands consensus before application, however there is little consensus in polarity. What we seem to see is moralized calls for justice through a homogenized fog of half-truths and polarity. No Choice, it is simply the trajectory we surrender to.
The Sun/Earth and the Not-Self Theme: “I Am Not Getting What I Deserve”
With Sun in 37 and Earth in 40, the homogenized masses are locked into the tribal bargain. The not-self does not experience Gate 37 as intelligent bonding. It experiences it as dependency or perhaps as needing validation or loyalty, agreement. And with Earth in 40, the not-self does not experience healthy aloneness, It experiences exhaustion, resentment, overwork, martyrdom. So what happens? You get millions of people thinking “I give so much.” “I am not appreciated.” “They owe me.” “This system is unfair.”
And the outer planets with Mars in 30 is pouring gasoline on that personalized emotional fire.
That is the shadow of attachment to expectations that, perhaps were never really correct for all.
Collapse of Collective Expectation
Mercury and Venus in Gate 22 bring the frequency down from the macro-tribal pressure of the Cross of Planning and the outers into the personal emotional-social layer. And because they are inner planets, they personalize the conditioning. They make it feel close. Immediate. Relational.
Gate 22 is not tribal in the 37–40 sense but it is individual emotional expression in the social field.
It is mood and moodiness, it is open or closed, it is Grace, or the complete lack of it?
With Mercury and Venus active in 22 this week? Gate 22 sits in the Solar Plexus. It is individual emotional circuitry.
So during this week: Apologies may not land, negotiations may feel cold, affection may fluctuate.
Social environments may feel unstable. And again, for those not living their design, mood will dictate decisions but for those operating correctly, the mood is simply weather.
But for the homogenized field? It becomes identity.
