Tea Drinking Thursday - Brutaliteas Limited-Edition Chocolate, Blueberry, & Lavender

Feb 15, 2024

Hello and welcome to Tea Drinking Thursday! :-)

National Hot Tea Month may be over, but that doesn't mean we can't still enjoy this wonderful and refreshing beverage. On the contrary, this is the perfect time to truly appreciate this drink and continue celebrating not only how delicious it is, but how beneficial it is.

Since yesterday was Valentine's Day (or Hallmark Day, as I like to call it), I decided this would be the perfect time to try one of the Limited-Edition teas I bought from one of my favorite tea companies out there, Brutaliteas. I got to see owners Courtney and Adam at the I Heart Horror Day, Part II event in Sayreville, NJ on Saturday, February 10th (as I was an attending author selling my books), and when I saw they had two limited edition teas for Valentine's Day, I just had to grab them. :-)

This year they did a Violet & Almond loose leaf tea made with black tea and a Chocolate, Blueberry, & Lavender loose leaf tea made with decaf black tea. Yup, you read the correctly, decaf black tea. I'm going to be very honest with you, I didn't know that existed. How can decaf black tea exist? Haha! But nevertheless, it does and it's delicious, especially when paired with chocolate, blueberries, and lavender.

So, the problem I had was deciding which one to try first. They both sounded amazing and smelled delicious. This was not an easy task for me. That's why I turned to a spinning wheel app I found on my phone. Haha! I inputted the two names into the wheel, spun it, and the Chocolate, Blueberry, & Lavender tea won. And let me tell you, this tea was so good! It wasn't strong at all, and it had a wonderful mixture of earthy, fruity, and floral flavors. You get a hint of everything really: the black tea, the blueberries, the lavender...literally everything. It was amazing.

And just take a look at that tea. I seriously love the fact you can see it all right there. No guessing what other ingredients could be added because it's there. Ah, it's heavenly!

In the end, I highly recommend this tea, especially to anyone who's looking for a black tea without the caffeine high. I also recommend it to anyone who loves fruity teas and lavender teas...or both, like me. :-)

Thank you for joining me as we enjoy Tea Drinking Thursday! Until next time, take care and drink on!

Please note, I am not getting paid to promote this tea or this brand. I am just a tea drinker enjoying some tea.
