Home Energy Manager can now look ahead instead of only showing what your system is doing right now.
The new Forecast page builds a 72-hour solar generation forecast using live Open-Meteo weather data, then calibrates that forecast against your own generation history so it gradually learns how your panels actually perform.
It also learns your household’s typical hourly electricity usage and uses that alongside the solar forecast to project your battery state of charge hour by hour.
That means you can see:
• Expected solar generation for the next 72 hours
• Your typical household consumption pattern
• Predicted battery SOC throughout the forecast period
• Whether the battery is likely to fall below your minimum reserve
• A recommended overnight grid charge when extra energy is needed
The overnight charge recommendation is designed to add only the energy you’re expected to need, and places it into your cheapest configured import window. If you’re happy with the suggestion, it can be applied to the inverter with one click.
The solar forecast uses Open-Meteo, so there’s no extra account or API key required.
