A little bit about myself...
Do you enjoy cinema? Well, if you do, that will help to relate with the theme of this writing. However, if you don’t, do not stress; just keep reading further :)
Krzysztof Kieślowski is a renowned and celebrated name in the world of cinema and filmmaking. He was a Polish director who created a documentary in the early phase of his career titled “Talking Heads.”
It was quite a simple concept. He used to engage people and insisted that they respond to thoughts about two questions: who they are and what they want. At the end of it, he posed the same questions to himself, just as I have done and continue to do, because I have not found any answers.
He further told,
“I don’t like myself very much, so i try not to observe myself too often. I made a documentary once entitled Talking Heads. I asked people two questions: “Who are you” and “What do you want?” Afterwards, I asked myself those questions. I realized that I didn’t have any answers. I don’t know who I am, and I don’t know what I want. If anything, I’d like some peace and quiet, but I’ve never achieved it, and I probably never will. So, I will never have what I really want.”
However, the trick is probably to try figuring out things that you absolutely would not let into your life, thoughts and psyche rather to pick up one thing you absolutely love among hundreds of thousands different things. I have somewhat of a decent idea about the things I dislikes. That's the first step I guess. Everything changes, so do my preferences. But I do know about a few little stuffs that I'd just prefer to let out.
