I am an electronics engineer by education, specializing in robotics, I love precision mechanisms, although my professional life has pushed me more into the cybersecurity industry. For several years I have been passionate about mechanical wristwatches, I am learning and slowly equipping my own workshop, so that one day I can make my own watch... Will it work? Time and life will tell.
Since watchmaking requires high precision, I need specialized instruments. These are neither easily accessible nor inexpensive—especially for a hobbyist and still an amateur. If you have any tools or devices gathering dust in your closet or workshop, I’d be genuinely interested and open to giving them a second life, even if they might need repairs, upgrades, or restoration. If they look useful, I’d be glad to cover the shipping costs to Poland.
