Our next trip has been all talk up until now - now it's real!
We've booked flights, hotels and hired a car to go and explore the area around the great ancient site of Ephesus on the west coast of Turkey from 28th April to the 5th May this year.
Ephesus? That's not Neolithic! No it isn't - but it turns out to be the best place to illustrate the importance of the obsidian trade in the Aegean, leading to the migration of early farmers to Greece and beyond.
Ephesus is not the focus of our trip; a little known site called Çukuriçi Höyük is what we aim to show you ... it just happens to be just a 1km from the site of Ephesus.
Anyway, we say it better in the video! Thanks guys. 😀
