Greyhound Yard, Mount Pleasant, Maumbury Rings, Maiden Castle. All extraordinary prehistoric sites in their own right, all within a few miles of each other.
We've long promised to ourselves that we should visit Dorchester and see if we can come closer to understanding why this town is so blessed with its huge prehistoric constructions. Just recently, Rupert was over in the UK so we thought we'd take the opportunity to take a camera to the town and see just what we could find and make what had previously only appeared on maps and archaeological reports a bit more real.
