In the lead up to this I want to cover benefits between Whonix-Qubes and Tails OS.
TailsOS is self described as "anti forensics"- and "amnesiac", making it a perfect operating system for journalists working in places where there are many unknown variables. If Journalists do not feel safe, they cannot report the truth. If they cannot report truthfully, the public is ill informed, or worse yet, misinformed.
Privacy is vital to free expression and a truly Free Press.
Running Whonix over Qubes requires vast computing resources, and isn't accessible to most users (8gb ram for minimal use, 16gb ram is recommended).
On the other hand Tails OS is accessible to just about any laptop/desktop (4gb ram sufficient).
