Stanislavsky was once asked to describe with a verb what it means to LOVE. Various options were offered: to give gifts and flowers, to live by the interests of the beloved, to devour with one's eyes, to sing with happiness and be in euphoria...
Stanislavsky replied: "Wanting to touch..."
I believe that the language of touch is much more eloquent and frank than the language of words. We can express absolutely everything with touch, from uncontrollable tenderness and hot passion to hatred.
Especially obviously you feel it when you are separated by thousands of miles, and all you would want in the first place is to touch the person you love.
