After Japan and a backpacking trip across Europe, I ended up moving to the States -- Ohio to begin with, though I ended up in Colorado a few years later. It was at that time that I began writing with the express intent of getting published. Before that, I had a fear of trying due to bad experiences in those creative writing courses in university and a general anxiety towards rejection.
But, in my first year here in the States (2015), I had my story "Listening to the Dark" published in Neat Magazine. After that, "Falling" was published in Sanitarium Magazine.
Since then, I have been published over a dozen times (counting the three podcast episodes)!
That was all about my writing. What about the PLM behind the pen?
When I am not writing, I am reading a lot. I also like playing video games (Prey, Song of Horror, Phasmophobia, among others). This all leads into my posting regular reviews of horror books, movies, and games on my blog. I also have taken up knitting, cross-stitching, oil painting, acrylic painting, and digital art (like the icons of my Patreon tiers).
When I'm not inside, working on my plethora of hobbies, I hike and workout.
I guess that's me in a nutshell.
