It's taken longer than I thought, but after seven years in the making, I'm excited to announce Apothecary is ready for release. I began this novel back in 2016 after watching the movie Arrival in the cinema down in Adelaide with a friend. Afterward, we went to a small cafe called the Apothecary and threw around ideas about what First Contact might have looked like during the reign of Bloody Queen Mary.
Apothecary isn't going to be an international best-seller like Leviathan Wakes or Hail Mary, but it's "classic Cawdron" (as I like to say), meaning it represents the style of novel I love to read but rarely come across. I hope you enjoy reading this novel as much as I enjoyed writing it.
