Todays surprise was the vast amount of lighters we found on our litter pick, this isn’t all of them either! We filled two large bags, repurposed two tubs for bottle tops and other small plastics, which is considerably more time consuming than the bigger bits. Sadly we’re restricted on how much we can take away so we’ve contacted someone locally who can arrange collection or take away the larger bits we’ve gathered and weighed down…
We’re almost out of bin bags again and are going to try somewhere new for some better gloves tomorrow courtesy of you generous people, meaning we can continue this important work 🥰
We are now looking into organisations that we can work alongside to educate and inspire people to clean up but also to make small changes to the way we use and reuse, to make real lasting impactful change.
