After FIFA 23 got announced yesterday I've seen people unhappy about the Nintendo switch getting a legacy version again. And it baffles me.
A dedicated console doesn't get a full-fledged version. Yet I'm playing a current-gen version of FIFA 22 on my mobile. When FIFA 23 is released I'll be able to play the same version as the Xbox series X and ps5 on my phone with cross-play. Honestly, I fail to see why people would waste money on a switch version.
Unless your Internet speed is less than say 20mbps you are better off getting the full-fledged current-gen version and play it on devices you already own.
It just makes sense.
