We are a small husky kennel in Swedish Lapland and own our own village - Björnlund.

We want to share our enormous passion for sled dogs, for the beautiful nature and the practically tangible feeling of freedom with you. We do not only have our dogs for tourist trips but build a middle and long distance team to participate in national and international races.

We live and work WITH and FOR OUR DOGS. The better the handling and care, especially for dogs involved in high-performance sports, the more expensive it becomes. High-quality food, professional equipment, training, veterinary costs (routine but also care for chronically ill dogs and emergencies), kennel maintenance and renovation etc. These are all enormous costs (at least SEK 20.000/month) that we have to cover. We don't offer mass tourism but rather personalized and dog-friendly experiences – quality over quantity. It's not a profitable business, especially not when you're racing.

We know that many of our guests take home unforgettable memories and experiences (or will take them once) and fell in love with our dogs. Do you want us to keep hold of our concept? We are deeply grateful for any support!
