COVID measures in Catalonia
The COVID measures for Catalonia have been updated and are active until at least January 27th. If you are visiting Barcelona or the surrounding area here is what you need to keep in mind:
Nightlife venues remain closed.
Groups are limited to a 10 person maximum.
50% capacity inside restaurants and bars, 100% capacity on terraces.
70% capacity in stores, at sporting events, cultural offerings, religious ceremonies, etc.
50% capacity at Bingo Halls.
COVID Pass is required to enter restaurants, gyms, elderly residencies.
The COVID Pass, or EU Digital Certificate, proves vaccination status, a negative test result, or recovery certificate. For visitors coming from outside of the EU, your countries vaccine certificate (ie. CDC card for the United States) will work for proof of vaccination. In other words, the documentation that allowed entrance into Catalonia
Traveling to Spain
All travelers coming to Spain by land or sea need to fill out the Spanish FCS form to receive the necessary QR code for entry into Spain. This QR code is shown at your first entry point into Spain and is not required to move amongst cities or regions.

Currently masks are required to be worn outside as well as in interior spaces across the entire country.
