Patio Past Times

Jul 29, 2020

Hi there,

I am currently in the Caribbean (Tobago, TT). I will be here for a few years relative to how my creative projects unfold (although I do occasionally return to Toronto - that is not possible right now of course).

It has become a little trickier to plan these days given the state of flux of our world and the closure of borders due to the pandemic. We hear (even) more about the climate at one moment, then the next moment, about the economy. Then ... the pandemic ... and again, the economy! (which is also impacted by the pandemic of course!). It's all soooooo cyclical at this time.

Long gone are the days when parents could simply plan a summer trip when school closed (or so it seems). Jobs and money were 'enough' and the vacation destination or day trip was 'there' waiting for another family visit to materialize. However, for many people, it is no longer 'that' easy or simple. So, here I am sitting it out in the Caribbean.

After March 2020, with decreased mobility due to the Covid-19 crisis, I sat and pondered like everyone else. After all, what else was there? I did so from a patio. By then, bar, beach visits and hikes were restricted.

What you will see moving forward is simply some information I wrote from past times spent on my patio (coupled with a few doodles).

With some support, I will be able to acquire my own equipment and tools (as my last 'finally kapultz' - RIP my friend). With a cuppa here and there, I hope that my projects will be created seamlessly. In the meantime, although I am limited, I am persistent! ๐Ÿ˜ Life is too short to wait for every single thing to fall in place ...

My 'split-personality journal/planner type thing' will most likely be available after Thursday, August 20 2020 (ebook format will be first). I will consistently update later on.

Welcome to my page! Oh, and thanks for stopping by ๐Ÿ‘‹
