Hello all who read.
I've been doing some work to make a presence for myself online that hopefully makes sense. I got frustrated with using AI to write for me one time too many and now I'm (trying to) insist with myself that I'll use my own words. It's slower and more mentally taxing but I'm satisfied for the most part.
Daily False Facts lives again
About a decade ago I created and ran a blog called Daily False Facts -- just like how it sounds, new post every day filled with stuff that's not true. At the time, I was able to find some success with it by submitting it on PointlessSites.com and a small community grew around the endeavor. The WordPress site had other plans though and eventually it became too slow for anyone to use it.

Daily False Facts is now back online with a new and most likely evolving look:
The new site was built with Astro and is totally static now, which I hope keeps DFF alive + healthy for a much longer while. You can learn a bit more about how the project is made on GitHub.
I scraped about 1K total False Facts and generated 200+ scheduled posts which should finish posting in the middle of next year. The LIES ticker seen on the website pulls 16 random false facts from the full list of old false facts.
Making an automatic portfolio
If you've happened to visit my GitHub.io site, you'll see something like this:
This portfolio is built automatically from my GitHub profile and re-builds at least once a day. What's more, if you have projects on GitHub then you can have one of these sites too by forking PD Gallery and naming your repository USERNAME.github.io with your profile name in place of USERNAME.
