11/29/2024 Morning Coffee... [1/11/2024]

Jan 21, 2024

So I started this post in Nov. 2023. It got as far a pouring a cup of coffee in some new OLD dishes I got that I was excited about. This is as far as it got me uploading the photo below and typing the date and words Morning Coffee.

I have been a bit lost and scattered in thoughts. Things seem to no longer make sense or come out in a linear thought. I feel stuck or trapped most of the time. I know there are things, good things coming up just over the hill or around the bend, over there. Here right now is the hard part.

So today January 11,2024. The Holidays came and went with not much fanfare here which is fine. We are busy planning and plotting and trying to sort shit out. I have a lot to get done still and yet I don't want to touch most of it because I am in this insane holding pattern unable to take off.

I am unsure about this Buy Me a Coffee yet I want it to work and be a way to share the things I am working on. I hope it helps inspire me to continue to share my interest and projects I am striving to work on. Walks and Bike rides and tattoos. Of course the Garden and Books of interest. This is supposed to be a way to branch out and share my content. I hate the term content creator because it seems the smug way of saying you make shit. I write or I paint, or a make film or digital video or I talk about the bullshit and world around me. And somehow we connect over shared interest or ideas, Or we learn from each other a new thought or way of looking at things or just laugh at how strange we as people are.

So I sort of got tripped up in the delays with the house in NOLA and my frustrations that arise with all that. I am annoyed I don't really know yet how to make a YouTube Video and feel it's hard to learn on my own and wish I had someone to help or teach me or at least guide me. Plus it's difficult that the only camera I have to make video is my phone which has a decent camera but the battery drains so fucking fast. So I have sort of been looking at inexpensive yet decent quality to have something else to make videos with. Leaning towards a GoPro 7 or better but they are not cheap and well I don't understand most of the Tech side of that stuff and am not good at retaining it if I attempt to learn it with out having hands on. See I need someone to walk me through it in person hands on, that is how I learn best.

Anyhow I don't want to make excuses I just want to find simple ways to move forward.

So a few small updates:

Not sure when the move is taking place but I know I have to be in New Orleans in Mid March to Mid April to handle some live plant deliveries and sort out how the fuck I am going to make them be okay when I have not yet had access to the garden area to prep it. (something to go into more detail later)

Tied to the garden and a interesting point of interest is I have to not go with getting a Rototiller in there and dig by hand as I know when the dug to place piers to add the raised back porch many old bottles some dating back to the early 1900 if not late 1800s where found. So I may find more old bottles which I love. Photo of bottles found while digging back yard to place piers for porch.

Then I also ordered my the bike I wanted as it was on sale and it seems this model is being discontinued with their new model. I wanted the two tone and detachable rear basket that doubles as a shopping basket. So I originally started this in Nov 23. I got as far as pouring a cup of coffee and taking a quick snap shot.

There is other stuff I want to share and go into but it have to figure out how to have this all sort of work as a whole idea and thing.

Xmas Bud and I went and saw Poor Thing in the theater which was odd and out of the ordinary, both doing that on Xmas and the film itself. I loved the film and would suggest seeing it.

But for now this scattered mess of thoughts and such is all I can muster. I promise I will try and be more focused and clear in the future. I just have too much noise in my head these past few weeks.

Enjoy this post?
