I get asked this a lot. Sometimes with hate, sometimes with true pure curiosity.
I never considered this to be a great achievement or something difficult to execute, but this is mostly thank to my awesome Community and my great friends. When I met my core premade I was the lowest Prestige of them all, and the lowest experienced player in the team.
Slowly PvP became my daily activity, my distraction and my passion. The more I was PvPing with them all, the more I was enjoying the game. We started on Horde, we built a strong and amazing Community there. We moved to Alliance a couple of months before Shadowlands hit. Then slowly, but constantly, we added new good members to our Alliance Community. And eventually we formed The Slaughter of the Horde Community. We invite only people like us, with the same mentality. Pvpers who want to tryhard every game, fully enchanted and geared, with the same passion and willing to do what it takes to perform. We do filter the invites a lot, but once members are in, they are highly valued; they become family.
The Honor Level arrives naturally, day after day, winning Bgs....A LOT of Bgs! Sometimes we game in the morning, all together, setting our alarms for it! Sometimes we go on until late at night! We may feel physically wrecked, but this is what we love and makes us happy!
The secret is a lot of dedication, good players and many many many many wins! And...a very hard skin to be able to ignore all the haters...there are a lot of them!
