Thanks for joining me for This Week Anime. Next on our list is Nazca, an old favorite from 1998. Some of you may recognize it from Malcolm in the Middle in their beginning opener on the tv in the living room, zoomed in on one of our main characters! Nazca was created by Yoshihiko Inamoto and directed by Hiroko Tokita, debuting on Tv Tokyo airing for 12 episodes.
Our story starts off with a kendo student named Miura Kyoji, and his instructor, Tate Masanari. Kyoji, a reincarnated Incan warrior named Bilka, who is awoken after his instructor realizes he's also is a reincarnated Incan warrior...who just so happens to destroy the world to purify it.
As Masanari begins his fight in a kendo tournament, his past life is awoken and so is his true call to destiny. He begins recruiting other reincarnated spirits, including his friends, fiance ,and Kyoji... The guy who will hopefully save the day.
As past lives start coming to light, so many characters begin facing the same problems. Each trying to decide what to do, trying not to make the same mistakes as their past lives did.. or of it's really even worth it.
No more spoilers! If you love anime, reincarnated souls, Gods, Nazca lines and their possibilities of opening portals.. this is definitely the anime for you! Defiantly worth the watch!
