Sartori BellaVitano Cheese! A Wisconsin Delight!

Jan 23, 2021

On today's cheese talk I'm gonna be going on about the family of Sartori's Cheeses. A little bit of history first!image
They started up in 1939 making all sorts of cheeses. They made some cool patents for cheese curd machines and got into making cheese. They were one of the very first exporters of cheese to Italy and Japan which is pretty powerful. They really hit it off in 1999 when they made the BellaVitano line of cheese and what most people know by them!

So the BellaVitano at its base is a lovely nutty cheese, kinda like a soft parmesan. It was based off traditional Italian farmstead cheeses. It's very smooth and creamy and is so versatile! You can get it plain but the real trick? The flavors! Sartori realized these cheese blends SO WELL with flavors so, they started treating the cheese rinds with them! Coffee? Sure! Wine? Absolutely. Raspberry?? You better believe it. You can check out the whole list over here.

I really can't express how FUN these cheese are. They pair so well on any cheese plate and really can add a splash to any party. The colors and tastes are amazing! They can be used in so many different applications and the flavors really add a wild twist. Its not something you can get outside the states (outside of exports!) but if its something you've thought about trying, I can 100% recommend it.
