We made this announcement for our members Wednesday and Friday of last week, so apologies for those of you who are seeing this twice—but it's SO important that we need to make a public announcement, too: Owl's Nest is expanding!
Katie and I are so happy to welcome help from Ash Schlax and Brittany Williams. Ash is our new Creative Director, and Brittany is our new Operations Manager. Both of them come to us with a vision for Owl's Nest that matches our own, and each has young readers in their own families that will be growing into the sorts of books we will be publishing.

In other news! I've been hard at work red-pen-proofing SON OF THE DEEP, and now that we have a creative director, we are making some much needed tweaks to the cover to make it the very best that it can be. Katie and I are so excited about our first release and the direction Owl's Nest is taking as it heads out into the world. ARCs will be going out soon to reviewers!
And now that we're into the second half of January, we are truly into our countdown to launch. In two short weeks, Owl's Nest starts accepting our first submissions for publication. We are ready and excited for what 2022 will bring us!
