I started The Other Side of Deaf Podcast as a creative way to talk about all the topics that were not being discussed surrounding the Deaf community. As a mother of two Deaf children and someone worked as a resource advisor for families with Deaf children for over 10 years, I found that there were so many professionals, family, and Deaf and hard of hearing people that had different points of view that were not understanding each other's point of view.

This podcast attempts to build bridges by talking about every side of the Deaf community. My hope is to bring people together and not offend, but we are going to talk about all the things others don’t want to talk about and ask the questions no one else is asking. Weather that is listening to a new perspective, learning about new opportunities or projects, or just listening to someone's story, we are going to break down barriers, learn from each other and come closer together.
