This is a gentle meditation on the hymn tune Caithness written in the key of D major. The tune is presented twice, first as a solo voice in the right hand part and then in a chordal textude. The composition ends quietly the way it started. The other parts play interesting ostinato figures creating colourful textures. This piece will be very effective in liturgical organ playing and recital programs. I recorded it using Sibelius/MIDI/Hauptwerk VST link and Begard sample set. Hope you will enjoy it!
