Today I would like to share with you my rendition of one of the most famous Estonian organ pieces - the sweet and gentle Berceuse which is the 2nd movement of the dramatic Organ Sonata No. 3 (1944) by the 20th century Estonian organist and composer Alfred Karindi (1901-1969). I recorded it at the recently restored magnificent Emanuel Štěpán Petr organ from 1912 at St. Ignatius church in Prague, Czech Republic when Ausra, me and our friends Paulius Grigonis and Vytautas Meskauskas visited it last weekend. Thanks so much to the organists Jeremy Emanuel Vittek and Martin Maxmilian Kaiser for hosting us!
