$45M Walmart Overpriced Food Class Action Settlement

Mar 12, 2024

What is the Walmart Weighed Groceries Class Action About?

A $45,000,000 Class Action Settlement has been reached with Walmart over allegations that customers who bought certain foods at Walmart supermarkets were overcharged for their purchases. The Walmart class action lawsuit alleged that chicken, pork, beef, seafood products, and certain fruits that are sold by their weight, were charged at higher prices than what the sticker prices were in stores, resulting in a bait-and-switch to Walmart consumers. Walmart has agreed to the class action settlement, but has not admitted to any wrongdoing.

How Do I Qualify For A Payout From the Walmart Lawsuit?
