So, my Hungarian friend will be going to UA for the 3rd time since June. The first time she and another woman from Austria just quickly dashed across the border, handed their stuff over to Ukranian volunteers (as they were men they weren't allowed to leave UA) and left again. A few weeks later, they (this time they were 4 ladies and 3 vans) visited various cities in UA, Lviv, Chernivtsi, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa and dropped off humanitarian aid, but also a lot of pet food. One day, my friend visited Irpin and ever since she's been there she's fiercely determined to do everything in her power to help Ukraine.
We're joking that I'm her ears and eyes as I'm more active on social media while she is closer to UA and can also send packages for free which is not possible from Germany. After 6 months I guess we've all found our place to help in the ways we can.
However, currently preparations for the next trip are ongoing! The lady in Austria has a lot of pet food and humanitarian aid, my friend managed to get some baby stuff and will go shopping before the trip starts on Saturday. We'll try to get a little bit of everything as we get regular wishlists from guys at the front. Those usually include medicines, hygiene products, coffee, etc.
We've also already started to think of the fall/winter season, so a friend has started to make beanies and scarves which will also go to UA this weekend.

And sorry that this page is still a bit empty. It was put together rather quickly as I didn't want to use my PayPal account with my name on it. There are too many idiots around these days.
But I can assure you, that every cent will be put into help for UA! Of course I always top it up with my own money as well.
