Hi folks!

My name is Cory Babstock. I am a 50ish ( for the rest of my life ) photographer/visual story teller/tour guide from Clarenville, Newfoundland.

I came to photography later in life when a series of events set into motion a torrent of changes in my world. I suffered a broken back, job loss, bankruptcy and a complete mental collapse. I was lost, in every sense of the world. I not only recovered and found myself through photography, I discovered a world filled with people who were interested in what I saw through a lens.

It was a revelation and led to me ultimately making photography my career and I have never looked back.

I started this year as a tour guide for a local Photography Tour company but in my off time I love to travel to the hidden corners of Newfoundland and capture what I see there, to share it with you.
