After a Boxing Day dinner of “Cold Meat with Bubble & Squeak” in order to make room for pudding my sister Annette & I ventured onto the beach for a stroll armed with our trusty Litter Pickers.
It was lovely spending quality time with my sister whilst doing our bit for the environment.
We picked the usual detritus but with a few unusual bits such as a “Sparkly Purple Duck”, “The Hulks Arm”, part of an artificial lawn and a large bit of rope with Oysters hanging from it.
Between us we took 11.27kg of the beach between Neptune Arcade & the Jetty.
We then went home and had a lovely homemade Christmas Pudding & Custard made by our Mum Hazel Crowder.
Moving even closer now to my 500kg personal target for the year, it's going to be close.
