The British Canoeing Paddle Safer Award with Outdoor Explore Wales
We strongly believe anybody new to paddling should have access to basic safety skills and knowledge-based courses. Outdoor Explore is one of the British Canoeing Delivery Partners and we would like to offer the Paddle Safer Award for FREE!
This course is for anyone new to paddle sport, in any craft (your own or you can hire one of our crafts). It’s ideal for paddlers wanting to be safer when paddling in sheltered environments. The Paddle Safer Award will be delivered in a very friendly and fun way, by an experienced tutor.
During the two hours course, we will provide you with
Confidence
Raise awareness of safety
Cover rescues specific to your craft
Knowledge of where to take your learning next, if you wish to follow such a path
