I am writing this post to provide a detailed update on our progress, account for the use of donated funds, and share early-access links to our two latest episodes:
These are 2 out of the 44 short drama episodes we have filmed so far. This is a brand-new format for us: each episode is a standalone story reflecting the real, everyday lives of BL couples. It covers their journey together—the ups and downs, the heartbreaks, the challenges, the social stigma, the family pressures, and above all, how they care for and stand by each other. I am sharing these two episodes early to demonstrate that I have never lied to any of you. Every single dollar raised goes directly into producing new projects.
Current Work Progress & Resources
According to our original schedule, I was supposed to finish 8 episodes by today. However, I couldn't meet that target because I am currently working completely alone. I don't have a full crew—only one assistant who helps coordinate with actors, rent locations, buy props, and handle meals for the team. Every other role—Screenwriter, Director, Producer, Cinematographer, and Video Editor—is handled entirely by me.
My weekly schedule looks like this:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: On-location filming with the team.
Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday: Morning, afternoon, and evening dedicated to video editing; nights spent writing scripts.
I only sleep about 3 hours a day, devoting all remaining time to production. It would be a lie to say I'm not exhausted. I am truly exhausted, but I refuse to give up. I once considered selling O2 Production's platforms, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. I am pushing myself to keep the channel running, to create job opportunities for our actors and crew, and to support my family.
For the past two months, I haven't had enough money to buy medicine for my father. He suffers from high blood pressure, kidney stones, and recent heart complications. I haven't been able to secure enough funds for his medicine because I am pouring every available resource into building a deep content library so that starting in October, our viewers can enjoy a new episode every day.
Upcoming Production Schedule & Fundraising Request
The goal of this post is to raise $300 USD for next week's shoot:
Next week: 3 shooting days (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday).
Following week: 2 shooting days (due to sudden actor schedule conflicts).
Last week of September: 1 shooting day (September 30th).
The $300 USD raised for this cycle will go directly toward:
Renting an apartment location for 3 filming days.
Catering and meals for the team.
Purchasing necessary props (if funding arrives by Sunday—tomorrow—I will personally go purchase props for Monday's shoot).
My overall monthly budget target is $3,000 USD to produce 120 short drama episodes for O2 Production. This $3,000 USD covers: 1 camera operator, 1 lighting technician, 1 makeup artist, location rentals, props, transportation for crew/cast, and catering for the 3 shooting days each week. I originally hoped to allocate extra funds to hire a co-writer, but that would add over $500 USD per month. Since that expense is too high, I will continue handling the writing myself. I only hope to have your continued trust and support along the way.
I have never had—and never will have—any intention of deceiving our audience. I would never trade 12 years of hard work, passion, and dedication for dishonestly earned money.
On that note, I would like to sincerely thank the two supporters who donated $150 USD for our August 23–24 shoot, as well as the supporter who provided $200 USD for our recent shoot. Your generosity means the world to me.
Because I am managing everything alone on a very tight schedule, I haven't had time to add English subtitles to these two episodes yet. I kindly ask for your understanding.
