Household Organizer just released!

Household Organizer just released!

Feb 15, 2022

Hey there! Shara here! I am super excited to release our first digital download here at Nurse Candy Co! Let me introduce you to our Household Organizer. This actually started out as something that I had created for myself when I was pregnant with my third child and trying to keep our family of 7 running smoothly. When you have 5 children or even just 1 child, it can be overwhelming to do all the mom things. My first creation was the Weekly Cleaning Schedule. I had to figure out a way to scale down all the household chores and deep cleaning chores to something less overwhelming and more manageable. This Weekly Cleaning Schedule allowed me to put my cleaning on auto-pilot. The Daily Reset & Close was really a game changer for me - especially having a toddler.

Once I got cleaning destressed, it was time to work on the next dreaded mom thing - meal planning & grocery shopping. I personally use the Weekly Meal Planner to plan out our dinners, but the box is large enough you could add in Breakfast & Lunch if you wanted. Or even print one for breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals. That's the great thing about this digital file - you can do it however you like! I personally use Grocery Pickup & Delivery and place my coming week order on Saturdays. The grocery list on the side comes in handy for jotting down things we run out of during the week so I'm prepared to restock when I prep my order for Saturday.

The next gem in this organizer is the Family Recipe Card. You can use it to organize your current stash of recipes as well as use it to jot down new family favorites. You can hole punch and bind, laminate, or even just toss them in a old school folder (guilty!) and put in a kitchen drawer for easy access.

Next on our list of mom things is the Monthly Budget Planner. Before I created this, my budgeting was something like jotting down bills and paydays on the back of a junk mail envelope and crossed my fingers I didn't accidentally throw it away. Embarrassing? Yea, a little - but it's real talk right now and it is what it is. However, with my pregnancy brain getting foggier with each passing day, the "junk mail envelope" system wasn't cutting it. Drumroll forrrrrr...Monthly Budget Planner! Now I don't know about y'all, but I've never cared for budget planners because they usually have so much "fluff". My goal with this planner was to simplify it - because let's face it - I didn't have time for the "fluff".

Weekly Planner rolls in next. This came into creation when I started missing appointments because I'd lay my phone down, my apple watch would be dead, and I'd completely miss the calendar reminder. For me, there is something about sitting down on Saturday, going through my calendar reminders for the coming week and actually WRITING it down that makes me remember it. I took it one step further and created a Daily Planner sheet so I can jot down the things I need to get done, any lunch dates, appointments, etc. There's even a mom section so you can track your water, what you ate, and what you're grateful for.

Afterall, your most valuable parenting skill is learning to manage yourself first! When mom isn't stressed about mom things, the whole vibe of your household will change. You can actually enjoy your family time and not be stressing about all the things you didn't get to do.

You owe it to yourself and your family to try it out but make sure you come back and comment your results - I'd love to hear them!!

xoxo
