Wow, where did the last 2 weeks go?
My new arty update is now live on You Tube
I've finally completed my Regular Sketchbook - and I still haven't replaced it - that's a job for today, so wish me luck on that one!
I finished up with a dip pen and ink drawing of one of the churches that we visited last month. So without a regular sketchbook, I continued to work in my Inktense sketchbook.
More churches!
I find churches very peaceful to visit, and to draw. The UK has some of the most adorable and pretty churches, many in secluded little villages. This one is fairly modern and was built in the early 1800's. The other one, that I drew in pen and ink, was restored in the 1800's but dates back to the 1400's. Lots of history!
I do feel as though I'm starting to get to grips with the Inktense pencils, but still not sure I've mastered them yet. However, I am finding them a lot nicer than those awful watercolour pencils that I had a few months ago.
In my Doodle Book...
A few more dragonflies and a few more circles... I've really just been working away at different patterns and backgrounds. Some have been more successful than others, but the book has been filling up with some concepts and shapes that I am very keen to develop further - just never seem to have the time!
I've shelved the craft projects for the next few weeks, I'm not feeling terribly motivated to get crafty - it might be the heat.. Just want to sit in front of a fan in a cool room.
Over the next few weeks, I have two Neurographic/Zen/Doodle videos already scheduled for the next two Tuesdays, also next Friday I will publish my review of those Shore & Marsh Watercolour Pencils. Those videos take a little longer to compile, hence the delay.
I hope you are working on something inspiring at the moment.
Until next time!
