Early Morning Shoots are my Jam

Early Morning Shoots are my Jam

May 14, 2021

I love photographs of people, but I’ve always shied away from featuring all that wonderful human goodness in my own photography. The best way to avoid people is an early start. It’s not an easy way to start the day but it’s ALWAYS worth it.

My home town of Aberdeen tends to get going quite early…oil company workers keen to show their commitment to the cause, so it’s up before 4 at this time of year, flask of tea to kid kids start the morning and head to the city centre.

I’m planning on heading out with my POST co-founder Kevin soon. He’s great to work with on these shoots. He shoots with his drone so we come at the outing with completely different perspectives.

Then once we’re done we’ll head for a coffee, check out our footage and exchange ideas about how it going to be used. This is the fun bit…a wee pat on the back for the early start.
