I have loved all things textiles as far back as I remember. I believe textiles have the power to fulfil both our senses and our soul and I find a lot of joy in making and learning about textiles and all that it is and could be.

No Ordinary Cloth podcast is stitched together with love - my love for textile and people weave together into episodes that tell an inspiring story. There are people who are radically rethinking textiles and how we make, use and dispose it, shifting the very foundation of this centuries old craft. I want to share their stories.

It is truly an exciting time to be a textile maker and I am honoured to have guests on my podcast who are some of the most creative people I have met and have such powerful visions for the future of fabrics.

I once came across a book that completely changed my view of what textiles could be - it gave new meanings, roles and functions to textiles in a way I had never imagined. This book sent me on a journey over the last 25 years and influenced my career and life in ways beyond my dreams.
