Noir Design Parti explores how Black Architects helped shape Michigan’s landscape and their influence on design, the building community, and future generations. We document their creative works and professional journeys through podcasts, educational talks, maps and tours, an interactive website, and exhibits that inspire the community and present architecture as a viable career option to a more diverse group of students. The Noir Design Parti online digital library will help repair Black Architects' erasure from Michigan's rich architectural legacy.
