Episode 14 of the Winter Latina Show, "Who Actually Won WWII," generated a lot of discussion on YouTube. The immediate purpose of the episode was to discuss May 9th, Victory Day, in Russia and the Soviet Union. However, we covered a lot of ground ranging from the impact of Cold War propaganda and Hollywood on the perception of WWII to the importance of memory in history. We also debunked a lot of blah-blah around the Soviet participation in WWII (the purpose of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, for instance). Trolls notwithstanding, it was a good one!
Oh, and I can't believe we've done 14 episodes already! Maybe sometime between seemingly endless obligations, I'll also squeeze in a recording of a history video or two: the original purpose of my channel. Can you guess what the next topic will be?
