The Japanese alphabet is not just a series of characters like English. It relies on 3 different alphabets Hiragana (ひらがな), Katakana (カタカナ) and Kanji (漢字 Han characters) which Hiragana and Katakana represent its sound. Each letter represents one syllable; Kanji represents its meaning. It is an essential step to learn and master all Hiragana and Katakana in writing and pronunciation, or else you will be unable to move further from the beginning. In this video, I have prepared the pronunciation and writing practice cover Hiragana and Katakana. You will be able to learn Kanji while we move on.
