I wrote this piece last summer for either acoustic or amplified pedal harp. It's written for intermediate to advanced pedal harp players. The style of this piece is in between rhythmical latin-style jazz and some classical influences into the structure. It's a fusion of multiple influences. It is now available in the shop on this page!
The piece has some quick rhythmical challenges in a faster-paced tempo and uses many common harp effects like playing with nails, p.d.l.t., harmonics and glissando's, including strumming the harp with your nails. The work is 7 pages long and around four and a half minutes in duration.
You can optionally play it on an electric or amplified pedal harp and use effects if you have them available, specifically reverb, delay and chorus. An explanation of when to use the chorus effect in this piece is included.
