Hello again! Every Year around January 31st, we go on a celebratory Southern Oregon Coast Rockhounding trip. We rockhound from the Bandon down to the Chetco River. I have turned 8 years sober, and I am so grateful to have friends and family that I can lean on, and who support me. Rockhounding might have saved my life as a hobby, but the people I know and love who have my best Interests at heart, are the true lifesavers. I just thought I would share a bit about this trip, because every year at this time my life flips on its head and sends me in a completely new direction. I am blessed to be struggling through all of the hard situations that life has to offer, and by doing it sober with a clear head on my shoulders.
I can say this.... I wouldn't trade my best day drunk for my worst day sober.
