We maintain an open-source tool for calculating urban sprawl
Help us keep this open-source web app for measuring urban sprawl alive! It uses the Weighted Urban Proliferation (WUP) method by Jaeger and Schwick, as described in the book Zersiedelung messen und begrenzen (in German). We aim to keep the servers running and the tool free for students, professors, and researchers in spatial planning, geography, landscape architecture, environmental science, and related fields. Your support covers hosting costs and helps us keep developing new features.
