Review: Jegudiel by Tillie Cole

Jegudiel By Tillie Cole is a dark romance. It's the second book from the Deadly Virtues series.

This one is about Diel, the Fallen brother with the collar that kept his inner monster tame. After what happened at the Purgatory his monster wanted more Brethren kills. The Fallen decided it was finally time to go after them. Diel was the first that was granted 5 Brethren kills and there he discovered that there were others who went after those monsters. The Coven, seven girls who have dimmed witches, heretics, and devil-worshipers had escaped and were stealing funds from the Brethren benefactors in order to save the kids. There was an initial shock from both sides but since they had the same goal they decided to join forces. Diel and Noa did more than that. Both of them had a "monster" inside them which made it easier to understand and connect with each other. Noa saved him from the torture and he was the second brother that found happiness. The only drawback to their story was that they discovered a piece of new information about the sick bastards.

Another incredible book from the Deadly Virtues series. A brand new romantic story that is different from the previous one. In this one, both of the main characters had been tortured and had their own demons to face. It's not as graphic as Raphael's but it has more emotional background stories. I loved the new addition with the Coven girls and how different they were from the Fallen. With each book I am more surprised with the Brethren, the minute I think that they can't be more fucked up they prove me wrong.

Jegudiel is an incredible book that I highly recommend to you. I will rate it with 4,5 stars. I can't wait to read the rest of the books.
