This is a wonderful beginner-friendly day hike. Embark on this hike from a charming wilderness cafe. You can stock up on fresh coffee/tea and delicious homemade cake in preparation for the trail ahead.
What's on the route: single-track trails and escarpments, views of the dramatic rolling hills, ancient woodlands and farm meadows make this area of the Chilterns countryside exceptional. There is also a pub at the halfway point should you fancy a drink and some food.
This beautiful day hike loops back to the cafe, where you can enjoy post-hike refreshments.
