The Public Education Forum is an independent civic-education project about disinformation, propaganda, influence operations, and the wider manipulation of public perception.
We are not building another fact-checking outlet. Fact-checking has its place, but the problem is larger than individual false claims.
Manipulation works through repetition, identity, emotion, humor, outrage, symbols, social pressure, and the slow erosion of trust.

The Forum exists to make that machinery easier to see.
Across Europe, researchers, journalists, institutions, and monitoring groups are already doing important work on disinformation and foreign influence.
But much of that knowledge stays trapped in reports, policy language, expert circles, and specialist events.
Most people never see it in a form they can use.
That is the gap the Forum is trying to close.
We translate complex research and real-world examples into public-facing writing, visual material, explainers, cultural work, and educational tools.
The aim is simple: help more people understand how influence works before they are already inside it.

The Forum brings together three kinds of work.
Artists help turn abstract ideas into images, symbols, objects, and cultural language people can remember.
Educators help make difficult subjects clear without flattening them.
Producers help turn ideas into things people can actually read, share, print, use, and build on.
Together, this makes the Forum less like a traditional institution and more like a civic workshop: serious about the threat, but flexible in how it responds.

Contributions help sustain the research, writing, editing, design, publishing, hosting, and gradual development of educational materials.
Over time, they can also help with translation, local versions, workshops, printed material, and tools others can adapt.
There are no paywalls here. No special-access memberships. No donor-only knowledge.
